The Account Manager will carry out an all-round approach to the sales process, taking responsibility for the generation of leads, identifying new business verticals and pursuing warm leads generated via prospect lists and market research within their assigned territory across Bristol and Wiltshire.
The individual we are seeking will be an ambitious professional who takes responsibility for driving business growth through winning new potential clients. They will seek to ensure that the new clients have their projects completed throughout the whole implementation process by working with internal teams. They will be responsible for growing the revenue against required targets on a monthly basis.
The successful candidate will have a background of over performance as an individual quota carrying salesperson. The role will require someone who has experience in selling into the SME/Mid-market with a high volume of transactions. The individual will hold a hunter mentality who takes pride in a high standard of work; success will grow from the ability to initiate prospect communication through cold calling, prompt response to sales enquiries and personal identification of new opportunities to grow Optimity.
- Identifying, qualifying and closing new sales through self-generated approach around Wiltshire and the surrounding counties.
- Provide regular account review meetings and service updates to allocated client accounts.
-Follow up and convert inbound warm leads.
-Gain an excellent knowledge of product and service portfolio to be used during the sales process.
-Research on leads – either organisation or individual to identify new leads and potential markets; utilising tools such as social media (LinkedIn).
-Take a consultative approach to gain an overall insight into customer requirements.
-Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport, book meetings and close business.
-Aid in the launch of new marketing initiatives that will generate new business leads.
-Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
-Prepare and conduct presentations and sales displays – when required.
-Take initiative as an Optimity ambassador to inform clients about new developments in the company’s product portfolio.
-Development and creation of quotes and proposals.
-Application of negotiation skills via phone, email or face to face meetings.
-Develop and measure personal sales goals and ensure they are met.
-Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events where relevant.
-Leading by example at important client meetings.
-Accurate forecasting through our CRM systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- 2 years' SP/ISP/IT experience with a strong account management background.
- Initiative, flexibility and creativity to solve tough problems.
