Optimity are a fast-growing value added managed service provider who have a strong history in the ISP market place. This Role will be to Manage the internal relationship of 300/500 currently trading ISP customers. The Internal Account Manager will be fully responsible for the day-to-day transnational relationship with these clients and working with the Head of the Solutions group to build the overall strategy and grow wallet share within the accounts. The role could require elements of new business to achieve target which will be supported via the internal lead generation and marketing functions. We require an Internal Account Manager who has experience working with multiple vendors and distributors in order to fulfil customers day to day transactional requirements.
As the role develops this role will naturally progress into a Internal Sales Team Leader Position. This is a position that will be based primarily from home but will require occasional travel into London/Chippenham as required to perform your duties.
DUTIES (among others)
Work with the key account managers to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs and objectives.
Act as a primary interface to Optimity for assigned clients, building relationships and providing outstanding service.
Advise on products and services where appropriate, seeking to close small orders when the opportunity arises.
Create a customer engagement plan
Prepare information in advance of customer meetings.
Monitor renewal dates ensuring that they are managed proactively.
Coordinate with other Optimity staff to ensure consistent and excellent service.
Regular meetings and reports with counterparts measuring KPIs.
Placate any customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
Upsell and cross-sell other opportunities for the organisation.
Ensure the CRM is up to date so that the pipeline can be effectively managed.

At least 2 years sales experience working within an MSP and an ISP.
Client-focused sales experience.
An individual who has a background of sales within the IT or technology industry.
